The Department of Public Law at the College of Law, Al-Qadisiyah University, held a scientific seminar entitled “The Role of Administration in Achieving the Dimensions of Sustainable Development.” The seminar was presented by Professor Dr. Waleed Hassan Hameed Al-Ziyadi.
The seminar aimed to shed light on the topic of sustainable development as a pivotal issue that receives widespread attention at the local, regional, and international levels, given its direct link to achieving a balance between the requirements of economic development, environmental protection, and ensuring social justice. Administration is considered the fundamental element in achieving this balance.
The seminar recommended that administration, as the cornerstone of achieving the dimensions of sustainable development, must direct human and material resources towards achieving economic development, protecting the environment, and promoting social justice. Therefore, adopting sound management practices is a prerequisite for achieving sustainable development and building a more balanced and stable future.
