Professor Dr. Nafie Subaih Jassim, a faculty member at the College of Veterinary Medicine, Al-Qadisiyah University, and student Dr. [Name Missing] have successfully identified new isolates of the paramyxovirus, which causes Newcastle disease. Aliya Mohsen has registered three new isolates of the paramyxovirus, the cause of Newcastle disease in humans and birds, for the first time in the NCBI GenBank. The isolate has been named Nafea 1.
