Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kalaf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, and the supervision of Professor Dr. Kadhim Nuwair Al-Zubaidi, the College of Fine Arts at Al-Qadisiyah University held a scientific seminar entitled “The Role of Education in Developing Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving Skills.” The seminar was presented by Dr. Hassan Alwan Ghanem.
The seminar aimed to highlight the concept of critical thinking and its importance in the educational process, and to demonstrate the role of modern education in developing analytical, deductive, and evaluative skills among learners. It also aimed to introduce effective educational methods that contribute to enhancing problem-solving skills and developing students’ personalities capable of independent and creative thinking. The seminar addressed the importance of the educational process in building students’ intellectual capacities and its role in developing critical thinking skills and enhancing the ability to analyze problems and make sound decisions, especially in light of the rapidly evolving cognitive and technological challenges of the current era.
