The course was held under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kalaf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, and with the follow-up of his assistant for scientific affairs, Professor Dr. Sattar Abdul-Hassan Al-Fatlawi, and under the supervision of the Director of the Continuing Education Center, Professor Dr. Sami Bashir Al-Hasnawi.
The Continuing Education Center, in cooperation with the Construction and Projects Department at the university, held a scientific course entitled:
“Insulin Resistance and Diabetes as an Occupational Health Challenge in the Construction Sector.” The course was presented by Assistant Lecturer Ashwaq Nouri Muwat.
The course aimed to highlight the importance of diabetes and its impact on the performance of engineers in the field, as well as the necessary procedures to be followed during work to ensure occupational health and the health and professional risks faced by workers in the construction sector.
