The College of Administration and Economics at Al-Qadisiyah University Holds a Training Workshop on the Stages of Social Change

The Statistics Department at the College of Administration and Economics, Al-Qadisiyah University, in cooperation with the coordinators of the Al-Kafeel Youth Initiative, held a training workshop entitled “Stages of Social Change.” The workshop was presented by Mr. Firas Al-Shammari, with the participation of Quran reciter Mr. Hussein Aziz Al-Dulaimi. The workshop aimed to explain how social change occurs as a historical process to which human societies are inevitably subject. This is an inherent and unchanging phenomenon that has accompanied human society since time immemorial. This change is subject to many factors, including historical, political, economic, and social ones. These factors may all converge to accelerate social change, creating a significant impact on an entire generation. The workshop recommended the necessity of creating a conscious generation that believes in the inevitability of change and the importance of guiding this social change in a way that serves the interests of nations and peoples and achieves their highest goals. This can be accomplished by directing society’s compass towards embracing positive changes and rejecting anything that might harm the value and moral system of society.
