Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kalaf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education, Professor Dr. Sattar Hamid Hamza Al-Janabi, the Department of Mathematics at the College of Education, Al-Qadisiyah University, in cooperation with the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein and the Family Guidance Center in Diwaniyah, held a scientific awareness workshop entitled “Globalization and Culture: Between the Constant and the Present.” The workshop was presented by Professor Dr. Talib Abdul-Ridha Al-Badiri.
The workshop aimed to raise students’ awareness of the concept of globalization and its cultural and social dimensions, to promote awareness of the importance of preserving cultural and religious constants in light of global changes, to discuss the impact of globalization on the national and cultural identity of society, and to open avenues for scientific and intellectual dialogue on ways to deal positively with the realities of the modern era.
