During a coordination meeting to select design alternatives for the master plan project for Al-Bassamiyah City, the College of Engineering at Al-Qadisiyah University discussed the project. The meeting aimed to develop the governorate and add service projects. Attendees included members of the Governorate Council (Services and Municipal Committee), directors of municipalities and urban planning departments, officials from relevant departments within the governorate, the director of Al-Bassamiyah district, and prominent figures from the district. Consultants from the Scientific and Consulting Services Office at the College of Engineering (tasked with preparing the design) were also present. Discussions focused on reviewing the design alternatives prepared by the College of Engineering’s consulting team and selecting the alternative that achieves sustainable development and meets the future urban and service needs of Al-Bassamiyah district.
