Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kalaf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Nursing, Professor Dr. Dirgham Al-Fatlawi, and in cooperation with the Directorate of Combating Organized Crime in Diwaniyah, the College of Nursing held an awareness workshop entitled “Operation Pangea Phase 17.” The workshop was presented by Lieutenant Colonel Hussein Nizam Al-Humaidawi and Lieutenant Colonel Karrar Ali Al-Tamimi.
The workshop addressed the issue of drug smuggling and its dangers to society and public health. Its importance stems from its simultaneous educational, security, and health-related role, as it highlighted the dangers of smuggling illicit drugs and their negative impact on individual health and safety.
