The Human Rights Unit at the College of Engineering at Al-Qadisiyah University organized a cultural symposium entitled (Iraq’s Victory over ISIS, the Victory of Peace over Global Terrorism) in the Continuing Education Unit Hall as part of the college’s activities on the anniversary of the great victory. Ms. Nadia Kazim Awad Al-Zamili lectured. The symposium aimed to clarify the importance of national unity and solidarity among the Iraqi people to build a better future, emphasizing that this anniversary embodies the will and determination of the Iraqi people to overcome challenges and preserve the unity and sovereignty of the homeland. The symposium talked about enhancing community awareness about authentic values through awareness campaigns, activating the role of educational institutions in including cultural programs in curricula, and the most prominent challenges facing authentic societal values in Iraq, and ways to preserve them in light of contemporary social and cultural changes, and addressing the heroic epics and great sacrifices made by the security sectors in confronting terrorism. And praising the courage and determination of the armed forces in defending the homeland and protecting its security and stability.
