In order to achieve the goals of sustainable development, the College of Biotechnology at Al-Qadisiyah University received the Committee for Monitoring, Auditing and Evaluation of Scientific Laboratories, headed by Prof. Dr.: Prof. Dr. Rahim Jabbar Zahir Al-Hamzawi / M.M. Mustafa Ali Al-Sharout, Ms. Salima Lafta Jassim, Ms. Nibras Mahdi Jaber, and Ms. Azhar Hassan Hussein, in the presence of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Abdul-Wahhab Al-Askari, Ms. Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Najla Abdullah Dawood, and Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, M.M. Muhammad Rajih, Head of the Quality Assurance and University Performance Division, Prof. Dr. Jabbar Afat, and a group of professors, to view the college laboratories and evaluate them according to international standards. The visit aimed to evaluate the college laboratories and ensure their application of international quality standards. The committee’s visit included a tour of the scientific laboratories, viewing their equipment and capabilities, and listening to an explanation from the laboratory officials about their work and activities. At the end of the visit, the committee stressed the importance of the role of laboratories in the educational process and the necessity of adhering to international quality standards to ensure the best results for students.
