The College of Fine Arts holds a training course entitled (Linguistic Fallacies in Administrative Correspondence) on the occasion of Arabic Language Day.

Under the patronage of the respected President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kazim Jabr Al-Jubouri, and under the supervision of the respected Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Professor Dr. Kazim Nower Al-Zubaidi, the College of Fine Arts held a training course entitled (Linguistic Fallacies in Administrative Correspondence), lectured by (M.M. Maysaa Abdul Amir Issa) from the Diwaniyah Education Directorate.

The course targeted department officials, employees assigned to administrative tasks, and students.

The course aims to clarify the types of administrative correspondence and the characteristics of each type, the mistakes that the employee makes, in addition to how to write, organize and format official letters in the correct administrative manner, and to clarify the types of these fallacies, including (spelling, expressive/stylistic, morphological, or grammatical), perhaps it will yield, even a little, in improving the performance of employees assigned to administrative matters in the face of the dominance of the common and dominant linguistic error in these correspondences until the error became a common right.
The session recommended the necessity of establishing and encouraging such initiatives, as they are of great importance in correcting the course of these common fallacies. In addition, these sessions reveal the interest in our Arabic language, the language of the Holy Quran, and in enhancing its status and supporting its presence, which has become threatened by the spoken language, the dominance of local dialects, and foreign English vocabulary.
