The Arts and Antiquities Museum at Al-Qadisiyah University welcomed a scientific visit from students of the College of Fine Arts to view the artifacts and treasures that were famous in the civilization of Mesopotamia. The student delegation was led by Dr. Ahmed Lutfah, and they were received by the museum director, Dr. Amir Najm, along with the museum staff, who accompanied them on a tour of the museum’s halls and corridors to highlight the museum’s artistic collections and to understand the methods of their formation, carving, and production for practical and theoretical observation, which is taught in the College of Fine Arts as part of its curriculum. Museum visits represent an important knowledge activity and collaboration between the museum and the university’s colleges, in addition to the preparatory and secondary schools that the museum receives annually to introduce students to their civilization and deepen their national identity, as well as to familiarize them with artistic and plaster works up close, encouraging them to replicate and stimulate their talents in similar meticulous works.
