Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kazem Jabir Al-Jubouri, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Science, Professor Dr. Mohammed Abdul Wahab Al-Askari, the College of Science organized an educational scientific workshop titled “Literature Review Using Artificial Intelligence,” presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Alaa Taima.
The workshop aimed to explain artificial intelligence and ChatGPT and its tools in writing literature reviews. It also addressed the ethical considerations and concerns regarding the use of ChatGPT and its tools in writing literature reviews. At the end of the workshop, some tools that utilize artificial intelligence (such as Research Rabbit, SciSpace/Typeset, Connected Papers, Litmaps, Semantic Scholar, and others) for writing literature reviews were discussed.
The workshop recommended the necessity of paying attention to artificial intelligence and investing its vast capabilities in writing literature reviews, as well as organizing similar workshops to increase awareness and education towards employing artificial intelligence in the university academic scene.
