The College of Engineering at Al-Qadisiyah University celebrated the anniversary of the declaration of victory over ISIS in the main hall of the college, attended by the assistant dean for scientific affairs, faculty members, and students of the college. The celebration included the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and the Fatiha for the souls of the martyrs of Iraq, as well as listening to the Iraqi national anthem. The opening speech was delivered by the assistant dean for scientific affairs, Dr. Haitham Ali Badi Al-Khaldi, on behalf of the dean, in which he stated that this dear occasion carried profound meanings about the bravery of the sons of the Tigris and the armed forces in all their forms, in their defense and stand against an enemy that despises life, peace, and a prosperous living. The celebration also included the presentation of poetry, a national anthem, and a documentary film titled “The Memory of Victory.”
