The Psychological Counseling Unit at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Al-Qadisiyah University held a counseling session entitled (Academic Integration and Emotional Confidence) in which Prof. Dr. Raafat Abdul Hadi lectured and the session rapporteur was Eng. M. Aqil Muhammad. It aimed to enhance feelings of security and belonging among students within the college and encourage students to express themselves freely and strengthen bonds of trust with colleagues and professors. The session included a set of guidelines and directives that help students enhance their academic integration and emotional confidence through a comprehensive presentation of what academic integration and emotional confidence constitute as foundations that help new students immerse themselves in the educational environment and clarify the importance of feeling a sense of belonging to the college and linking it to students’ experiences in their previous lives, such as belonging to the school team or belonging to the school or belonging to the homeland, and emphasizing to students that their feeling of belonging to the college is not their responsibility alone, but rather the role of everyone within the educational institution in the college, including professors, employees and colleagues.
