Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Kazem Jaber Al-Jubouri, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Science, Professor Mohammed Abdul Wahab Al-Askari, in collaboration with the Student Activities Department at the university, and coinciding with the seventh anniversary of the Great Victory Day, the Department of Medical Analysis, represented by its head, Professor Baligh Abdul Zahra, organized the “Health and Innovation Hackathon” for medical technologies in support of cancer and thalassemia patients.
The celebratory program, attended by the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, the Dean of the College of Science, the legal advisor and head of the administrative staff of the Iraqi Ministry of Health, Wathiq Al-Majoul Al-Jubouri, a group of deans of colleges, officials from government and medical institutions, professors of the college, and its students, began with the national anthem, followed by a speech from the Dean of the College and another from the head of the administrative staff of the Ministry of Health. This was followed by the presentation of the main topics, which included:
– Technology and technical support and website design / presented by M.M. Hala Abbas Mahdi
– Scientific support / presented by A.M. Dr. Samira Ghajir
– Presentations by the three student winners of the best medical website.
The program concluded with the cutting of the Great Victory Day cake and honoring the participants, the working team, and gifts for cancer and thalassemia patients from the students and external participants.
