Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Professor Dr. Kazem Nuwair Al-Zubaidi, the Educational Guidance and Psychological and Social Services Unit at the College of Fine Arts organized a workshop titled “Drugs and Their Impact on the University Environment,” presented by M.M. Saja Saleh Hussein.
The workshop aimed to highlight the dangers of drug use, which is a phenomenon that directly affects society due to its devastating impact on individuals within the Iraqi community. Additionally, the university environment has begun to witness the spread of such phenomena, making it essential to combat or confront it while mitigating its effects and risks on individuals and the university community. Efforts must be made to eliminate this danger entirely, not only through enhancing individual and social efforts to address it simultaneously but also through intensifying awareness efforts and activities that reveal the extent of its danger and threat to youth.
