The College of Computer Science and Information Technology at Al-Qadisiyah University holds a seminar on the concept of violence and how to confront it

The Women’s Affairs Unit, in collaboration with the Informatics Research Unit at the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at Al-Qadisiyah University, organized a seminar titled (The Concept of Violence and How to Confront It), presented by M.M. Dunya Amin. The seminar aimed to define the concept of violence and identify its types, including physical, psychological, and social violence such as bullying, and to raise awareness of the risks of violence against women and children, considering it a serious social phenomenon that affects society. Violence is seen as a violation of human rights. The seminar also highlighted ways to address violence, such as educational programs and the use of media, technology, and social media to mitigate this phenomenon, as well as providing psychological and social support and establishing centers that offer psychological and social assistance to women who have experienced violence.
