The Quality Assurance and University Performance Division at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Al-Qadisiyah University held a workshop titled “The Method and Importance of Researchers Obtaining the h-index,” presented by Professor Dr. Alaa Khaldoun Zidan Al-Amiri. The workshop addressed the method and importance of obtaining the h-index from the Scopus and Google Scholar platforms, covering several topics, including the definition of the h-index, which is used to measure productivity and citation in published classified scientific research. It relies on two main factors: the number of published research papers and the number of citations for each paper by other researchers.
