Mr. President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kazem Jaber Al-Jubouri, received in his office the ministerial committee assigned to follow up on the affairs of dormitories in public universities, in the presence of Mr. Director of the Dormitory Affairs Department at Al-Qadisiyah University, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Fahim Al-Zamili.
The work of the ministerial committee, which consisted of (Dr. Qusai Hamid Khalaf, Professor Hilal Mohammed Hamid, Professor Ammar Kamel Sarhan, Professor Riad Abdul Ali, and Mr. Ibrahim Abbas Ibrahim), included a field tour to assess the current situation of the dormitory complexes for boys and girls at Al-Qadisiyah University, the areas they occupy, as well as the quality of services provided to our dear students, service and recreational sites, sports and library halls, shopping areas, health complexes, devices and equipment, generators, and all necessary comforts for university housing.
It is noteworthy that Al-Qadisiyah University has obtained official approvals to establish new buildings for the dormitories by creating a modern dormitory complex with three floors, accommodating (810) students, located on an area of (6200) m², which construction began a few days ago to accommodate the increasing number of students, as the project is part of the major construction campaign launched by Al-Qadisiyah University to establish educational complexes and scientific laboratories for all colleges.
