Under the patronage of Mr. Prime Minister Engineer Mohammed Shiaa Al-Sudani, the Supreme Council for Youth/Prime Minister’s Office held the Volunteer Work Carnival, which saw the participation of a large number of ministers and representatives of the youth sector from all provinces. Our university was represented by Mr. Raed Farhan Shahid, the head of the Green Education Unit, who served as the coordinator for the climate change team in Al-Diwaniyah Governorate. The carnival is sponsored by the Prime Minister’s Office, during which a number of active figures in the field of volunteer work were honored. These governmental initiatives complement many previous steps, such as the partnership between UNICEF and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and during the meeting, the volunteer work initiative in the Ministry of Education was launched.
