The College of Engineering at Al-Qadisiyah University organizes a scientific symposium on leadership skills

The Department of Civil Engineering at the College of Engineering at Al-Qadisiyah University organized a scientific symposium entitled (Entrepreneurship Skills Transform Challenges into Opportunities) as part of the activities of the Global Entrepreneurship Week, in which Eng. Israa Riyadh Al-Ghara lectured. The symposium aimed to consolidate the culture of entrepreneurship, creativity and innovation among students and encourage them to innovate and think creatively and work on discovering their own abilities and coming up with entrepreneurial ideas and transforming them into entrepreneurial projects and businesses. The symposium included how to plan effectively during the development of ideas, the stages of transforming an idea into a tangible business, the importance of focusing on the feasibility study of the project, identifying the reasons that lead to the non-continuity of some entrepreneurial projects and ways to avoid them, the principles and foundations of entrepreneurship, crisis management and the characteristics of small projects, stressing the importance of spreading the culture of entrepreneurship and creativity among university students, and encouraging them to participate in various competitions in this field to exchange experiences, gain more life and job skills, and open horizons and opportunities for them to transform their ideas and projects into prototypes that can become start-up companies
