The College of Biotechnology at Al-Qadisiyah University holds an advisory seminar entitled “Immunization from Deviant Ideas.”

Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Prof. Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, and the supervision and follow-up of the Dean of the College of Biotechnology, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Abdul-Wahhab Al-Askari.
The College of Biotechnology held an advisory seminar entitled Immunization from Deviant Ideas, in which M.M. Qasim Zamel Bneid lectured.
The seminar aimed to educate young people about the dangers of deviant ideas and how to prevent them by enhancing critical thinking and fortifying oneself with correct values ​​and reliable information. The seminar discusses the importance of building intellectual awareness, how to distinguish false ideas, and the role of educational and community institutions in protecting individuals from being led by these ideas. The seminar is presented in an analytical and scientific manner, with real-life examples and visual aids to support understanding.
The recommendations of the seminar include:
1. Strengthening awareness education: Including educational programs and courses that focus on developing critical thinking and awareness of the dangers of deviant ideas.
2. Increasing moderate religious education: Emphasizing moderation in understanding religious texts, and encouraging constructive dialogue with reliable religious scholars.
3. Activating the role of the family: Urging families to enhance communication with their children, and instilling moral and social values ​​that protect them against intellectual deviation.
4. Improving media content: Providing positive media content that enhances intellectual awareness and combats misinformation and false information.
5. Strengthening community partnerships: Cooperation between educational, religious, and cultural entities to implement comprehensive and sustainable awareness programs.
6. Monitoring social media: Enhancing self- and institutional control of social media content, and directing youth towards the responsible use of technology
