Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and supervised by Professor Dr. Nabil Imran Al-Khalidi, Dean of the College of Arts, the College of Arts organized a seminar titled “Quranic Language as a Guide in Reading Quranic Stories,” presented by Dr. Karim Mahdi Al-Masoudi.
The speaker emphasized the connection of the seminar to Entrepreneurship Week by explaining that in the stories of all the prophets (peace be upon them), there is a deep desire that stirs in the believing person to mobilize their energies; to elevate themselves to become effective and influential, contributing to the positive change that benefits society and its advancement. He cited the example of Prophet Joseph (peace be upon him), who transformed from a powerless enslaved person to the actual first leader of a great state, thanks to his patience, planning, and investment of his personal abilities in building a strong economy and a healthy society—making Egypt a major economic power during a global economic crisis in contemporary terms. He focused on three verses, interpreting them in a new and unprecedented way, relying on the language of the Quran, away from traditional narratives.
