Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Prof. Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Science, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Abdul-Wahhab Al-Askari, and on the occasion of the Global Entrepreneurship Week, the College of Science completed a scientific symposium entitled (Artificial Rain) in which M. M. Fatima Wissam Naji, M. M. Nashwa Jabbar Kazem, and M. M. Zainab Wissam Naji lectured. The symposium aimed to introduce the technology of artificial rain and its importance in increasing the percentage of rain in areas that do not witness much rainfall, thus increasing the density of the vegetation cover, refilling the dams, and increasing the groundwater reserve for future use. The symposium also recommended developing rapid strategies to study the negatives and positives of this phenomenon on the climate of our country in coordination with universities and environmental experts in Iraq, and maintaining the necessary rainfall rates to maintain a more balanced climate environment.
