Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Biological Technologies, Professor Dr. Mohammed Abdul Wahab Al-Iraqi, the College of Biological Technologies organized a distinguished lecture titled “Human Rights in Ancient Civilizations,” presented by Assistant Lecturer Skina Shati.
The lecture aimed to highlight the importance of human rights and their deep roots, discussing the historical stages that human rights went through, starting from the civilization of Mesopotamia up to human rights in Islamic law and the key principles addressed by Islam in the field of human rights. It recommended encouraging students to explore the history of human rights and to recognize the importance it has held since ancient times.
