As part of the activities of the Global Entrepreneurship Week, the College of Arts at Al-Qadisiyah University holds a scientific symposium on the entrepreneurial orientation

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Nabil Omran Al-Khalidi, Dean of the College of Arts, the College of Arts held a scientific symposium entitled (Entrepreneurial Orientation, Concept, Approaches and Dimensions), in which Asst. Prof. Dr. Salah Hassoun Jabbar lectured and the session was managed by Asst. Prof. Dr. Nahda Sattar Obaid. The symposium aimed to clarify the concepts of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial orientation in language and terminology. It tends to mean undertaking something, requesting it and working on it. Entrepreneurial orientation is achieved by providing human and material resources and job opportunities and investing them in a way that serves the individual and society. The approaches to entrepreneurial orientation were represented by the presence of elements: the entrepreneurial work organization behavior approach, the administrative perception approach, and the entrepreneurial work organization materials approach. The dimensions of entrepreneurial orientation were represented by three elements: creativity, proactivity, and risk tolerance and confrontation. The symposium came out with a set of recommendations, including spreading the culture of entrepreneurial work in other academic and community institutions by holding seminars, discussion groups, and exhibitions that produce entrepreneurial work and other activities, and encouraging students To activate activities that develop their motivations and skills in order to achieve promising fruitful results for the college, university and educational institution.
