The session aimed to identify the key stages of T cell development, as the development of T cells within the thymus gland is a complex process that involves four main stages relying on the expression of common CD4 and CD8 receptors, ultimately leading to the production of cells capable of performing immune functions. During this session, there was an intensive discussion regarding the four stages of T cell development.

The session concluded that understanding the interactions of cells within the thymus gland will be beneficial in distinguishing the process of T cell development and future strategies aimed at gaining a deeper understanding of thymus function and developing possibilities for new therapeutic interventions.
