Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, and supervised by the Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Professor Dr. Kazem Nuwair Al-Zubaidi, the College of Fine Arts at Al-Qadisiyah University organized an art workshop titled “The Magic of Clay” for students, presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Jabr, Assistant Professor Dr. Mustafa Al-Hilali, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Shakir, and Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Alwan.
The workshop aimed to train participants on working with clay and how the artisan begins the initial stages of creating a ceramic piece, starting with kneading the clay and then shaping it. By using one of the shaping techniques, the artisan can create the desired artistic form and then carve it, reaching the shaping stage, according to what the creator sees as necessary to execute their artistic piece.
