The College of Law at Al-Qadisiyah University holds a scientific seminar on honoring parents and caring for them

The Educational and Psychological Supervision Unit at the College of Law at Al-Qadisiyah University organized a scientific seminar titled “Honoring Parents and Caring for Them,” presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Shatha Muthafar Hussein and chaired by Lecturer Mohammed Jabar Khashan. The seminar aimed to raise awareness of the importance of honoring parents, highlight their status in religion and social values, and encourage children to fulfill their rights and care for their parents both materially and morally. The seminar concluded that honoring parents is a great act of worship and a source of blessings and happiness, and caring for parents is a moral and religious duty that does not diminish with age or busyness. The seminar recommended treating parents well through words and actions and teaching children the value of honoring them by setting a good example.
