The Dean of the College of Medicine at Al-Qadisiyah University organized a training course titled “Academic Writing Skills for Graduate Students,” presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Mayada Mahdi Raouf. The course aimed to enhance the scientific academic writing of graduate students, avoid confusion between its types, and use an appropriate template for the type of academic text. The course also addressed the meaning of scientific academic writing in English, its types, and ways to develop it by familiarizing participants with writing techniques and using correct vocabulary. The course recommended following appropriate methods to improve scientific academic writing skills.
