Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Kazem Jaber Al-Jubouri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Munir Abdul Amir Abdul Fattah, Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, and on the occasion of Global Entrepreneurship Week, the Unit for Research on Zoonotic Diseases at the college organized a scientific workshop on the purification of antibodies from sera, presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Hassan Hajim Nasser.
The aim of the workshop was to train participants on effective techniques and methods for isolating antibodies from sera, by understanding the fundamental principles of this process, and learning techniques such as precipitation and filtration, in addition to analyzing the quality of purified antibodies and their practical applications in research and treatment, thereby enhancing the technical skills of participants in the laboratory.
The workshop recommended the necessity of precision in the process of purifying antibodies from sera according to the study in terms of the study hypothesis and its objectives to achieve research or study results during that experiment.
