Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Munir Abdul Amir Abdul Fattah Al-Fatlawi, Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, the Department of Anatomy and Histology at the college held a course on Bioinformatics (Applications of Life Information) and its applications in scientific research, presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Hazem Karim Nasser, Assistant Professor Dr. Hassan Hajim Nasser, and Assistant Professor Dr. Nabil Abdul Murad Al-Mamouri.
The course addressed the importance of life information applications in general and the techniques that should be used to deal with genes, their expression, the classification of organisms and proteins, and the production of vaccines and medicines according to their composition, shape, and components, and their significance according to the amino acid structure.
The course recommended the necessity of precision in determining the appropriate type of technique according to the study in terms of the study hypothesis and its objectives to achieve the results of the research or scientific study.
