Under the sponsorship of Professor Dr. Kazem Jaber Al-Jubouri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and supervised by Professor Dr. Nabil Imran Al-Khalidi, Dean of the College of Arts, the Counseling Unit at the College of Arts, in collaboration with the Counseling and Psychological and Social Services Center at the university, held a seminar titled “Mental Health and Its Prominent Related Aspects.” The seminar featured presentations by Assistant Professor Dr. Hussam Muhammad Munshid, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmad Adnan Munkar, Assistant Professor Dr. Firas Abdul Khaleq Mandil, and Assistant Lecturer Lika Sabah Othman.
The seminar aimed to educate students about the prominent aspects related to mental health from both a positive perspective, highlighting aspects such as self-confidence, life satisfaction, and happiness, as well as from a negative perspective, such as conflict and frustration, and the behaviors that result from them towards the individual and society.
The seminar concluded with a set of recommendations, including working on managing life challenges, identifying individual strengths and weaknesses, enhancing personal strengths, and addressing weaknesses to achieve success in personal and professional life, in addition to contributing positively to their community.
