Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Prof. Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Prof. Dr. Ali Hassan Ali Murad, the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Dentistry held a training course entitled (Detection of Blood Groups and the Rhesus Factor), in which Asst. Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Talib Hussein and Asst. Prof. Ruqayya Hussein Abdul Muhammad lectured. The course aimed to shed light on blood groups and the Rhesus factor and how to conduct laboratory tests to identify blood groups, in addition to clarifying possible cases of blood transfusion and their effect on adults, in addition to training students to conduct these tests. The course recommended the need to accurately identify blood transfusion operations and the importance of knowing blood type in medical emergencies, diseases and health in general
