The Department of Materials Engineering at the College of Engineering at Al-Qadisiyah University organized a scientific course entitled (The effect of the oral environment on the properties of prosthetic materials used in dentistry) in the Continuing Education Unit Hall, in which Asst. Prof. Dr. Israa Faisal Ghazi and Asst. Dr. Dalal Turki lectured. The course aimed to introduce the attendees to the most important materials that can be used as prosthetic materials and fillings in dentistry, their types and methods of use. The course dealt with the most important physical, mechanical and biological properties that must be available in these materials and the extent to which these properties are affected by the oral biological environment, as well as knowing the effect of that environment and its conditions on the success or failure of prosthetic materials and fillings.
