The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Al-Qadisiyah University organizes an advisory lecture on social stigma and ways to combat it

The Psychological Counseling Unit at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences organized a guidance lecture entitled (Social Stigma and Ways to Combat It) presented by Professor Dr. Raafat Abdel Hadi and moderated by Professor Dr. Mohamed Hatem Abdel Zahra. Several axes were highlighted, including defining social stigma, its causes and effects on individuals, how it affects their lives, the most important factors related to social adaptation, and the societal repercussions of social stigma at the personal and family levels. At the end of the lecture, a number of solutions were proposed to combat social stigma, most notably enacting laws to combat social stigma in the academic and sports fields and developing special programs to protect those affected by this phenomenon.
