Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Prof. Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Biotechnology, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Abdul-Wahhab Al-Askari, the College of Biotechnology held an advisory seminar for first-year students entitled (Students’ Behavior and Interactions on Campus) and was lectured by Dr. Nadia Baqir Hussein. The seminar aimed to provide guidance and direction to first-year students, especially since they are in great need of it as they are going through a transitional phase from school life to university life and to introduce them to the ethics of the student in the university environment and his rights and duties and obligations and the most important desirable behaviors such as the necessity of respecting professors and classmates and maintaining privacy and caring for the academic level. The seminar dealt with the use of social media with its positive side and staying away from some undesirable behaviors such as bullying, verbal aggression, blackmail, cheating, immodesty in clothing and harassment, as well as writing down the most important problems students faced during their attendance at the college and helping them find solutions to them
