Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kazem Jabir Al-Jubouri, and the supervision of the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Star Abdul Hassan Al-Fatlawi, the Chemical Warehouse Monitoring Committee, chaired by Professor Dr. Ahmed Kazem Abbas, along with Professor Dr. Mai Jalil Abdul, Head of the Chemical, Biological, and Radiological Safety and Security Division, organized regular visits to all chemical warehouses in the university’s colleges.
They reviewed the storage conditions and prepared a detailed report on each warehouse after addressing all the deficiencies recommended by the committee to meet the safety and chemical security standards at the university.
The committee also recommended the proper storage of chemical materials, continuous ventilation of the warehouses, equipping them with the necessary essential equipment, and adhering to safety and chemical security conditions based on the guidelines prepared by the ministry, which was circulated to all colleges in the university.
