Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education for Women, Professor Dr. Mai Ali Aziz, the Guidance and Educational Counseling Unit at the College of Education for Women organized an educational seminar titled “Drugs and Their Effects on Society,” presented by Assistant Professor Shurooq Kazem, Assistant Professor Hala Ali, Dr. Nagham Ali, and Assistant Lecturer Sara Sabah Hamza.
The seminar aimed to instill religious awareness in children from a young age, practice sports properly, avoid places where they are accustomed to using these substances, as well as friends who use them, and occupy free time with beneficial activities for this life and the hereafter. The seminar recommended writing the dangers of these prohibitions in clear handwriting, placing them in a prominent location, and reading them from time to time to renew resolve.
