The College of Law at Al-Qadisiyah University, as part of the training program for graduate students in the research phase, organized the electronic scientific workshop titled “Skills of Legal Text Analysis,” presented by Prof. Dr. Abd al-Mahdi Kazem Nasser and managed by Dr. Ali Hamza Jabr.
The workshop aimed to highlight the importance of legal analysis in legal texts found in laws, constitutions, and others. Legal analysis examines in depth the influencing factors and challenges faced in legal analysis concerning its application context, as well as how to defend and evaluate theories of legal analysis.
The workshop concluded that legal analysis is divided into formal analysis and substantive analysis. It recommended the necessity of focusing on legal analysis when writing theses and dissertations and the importance of modern legal analysis methods. Researchers should view legal analysis as an integrated process within the framework of jurisprudence, law, and judiciary.
