The Chemical Engineering Department at the College of Engineering at Al-Qadisiyah University organized a scientific course titled “How to Write a Scientific Paper” in the Continuing Education Unit hall, presented by Prof. Dr. Rafiq Kazem Abbas.
The course aimed to introduce the basic concepts of writing a scientific paper that can be accepted in reputable scientific journals indexed in Scopus or Clarivate. The course included an overview of the components of a scientific paper, the conditions that must be met in writing each part of the paper, and the things to avoid to increase the likelihood of acceptance in prestigious global journals.
The course emphasized the importance of being sufficiently familiar with all the requirements for writing a scientific paper and using methods that enhance the probability of acceptance and subsequent publication in reputable journals indexed in Scopus or Clarivate, while avoiding predatory journals and commercial publishers.
