The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Al-Qadisiyah University organized a workshop on (Basic Requirements for Journals to Enter Scopus Containers) lectured by Professor Dr. Khaled Abdul Hussein Jaber and the workshop was managed by Professor Dr. Ali Hussein Hashem. The workshop dealt with how to advance scientific journals according to a future vision to enter Scopus containers in terms of the website and how to build scientific interfaces for the journal containing comprehensive information about the journal and the publishing houses that the journal officially approves and the most important information required in the research interface and how to develop a future plan to develop the journal’s work according to the future vision to enter Scopus containers. The workshop recommended re-formatting the Al-Qadisiyah Journal of Physical Education and Sports Sciences according to the new contexts and urging researchers to publish in English and review other journals published in Scopus journals and increase the number of editorial board members qualitatively rather than quantitatively and focus on foreign members
