Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Kazem Jabir Al-Jubouri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Nabil Imran Al-Khalidi, Dean of the College of Arts, the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Arts organized a scientific seminar titled “Protecting the Image of Iraqi Women in the Digital Space.” The seminar featured presentations by Assistant Lecturer Iyad Abbas Al-Janabi, Assistant Lecturer Heba Adnan Aziz, and Legal Presenter Abbas Bardan Al-Barqawi, with the session managed by Assistant Lecturer Zainab Mohammed Hamza.
The seminar aimed to address ways to deal with violence against women in the digital space and to study the forms of violence that women face online. It explored the possibility of enhancing awareness of digital security and increasing women’s understanding of the risks and challenges of security in the digital space, as well as developing their capabilities to protect themselves and their data. The seminar discussed modern electronic technologies in addressing the challenges and problems faced by women, including digital threats.
