Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Munir Abdul Amir Abdul Fatlawi, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, the Department of Microbiology at the Faculty held a training course entitled (Preparation of some important and necessary chemical solutions in the diagnosis of some parasites) presented by Prof. Dr. Azhar Jafat Karawan, Asst. Prof. Dr. Amal Hassan Abdul, Asst. Prof. Dr. Nour Eidan Jarad, and Asst. Dr. Hadeel Hadi Jawad. The course aimed to shed light on the preparation of some chemical solutions necessary in the diagnosis of some types of parasites. It also included the preparation of the most important chemical solutions such as Sheather’s Solution and Zinc Sulfate Solution, which are used in the floatation method to detect the eggs of some parasites that are light in weight and float with the help of these solutions.
