The College of Education at Al-Qadisiyah University hosts the activities of the scientific workshop for the National Initiative to Support Energy and Reduce Emissions, which was organized by the Diwaniyah Governorate in partnership with Al-Qadisiyah University.

Under the patronage of the Governor of Diwaniyah, Mr. Abbas Shuail Al-Zamili, and the patronage and attendance of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, and the supervision of the First Deputy Governor of Diwaniyah, Engineer Ali Jabr Al-Fatlawi, representing the Governor of Diwaniyah, and with a wide governmental, academic and media presence..
The College of Education at Al-Qadisiyah University hosted the scientific workshop on the policy of the national initiative to support energy and reduce emissions, which was organized by the Performance Evaluation Department – the Central Isoenergy and Efficiency Team in the Diwaniyah Governorate Diwan in partnership with the University Isoenergy Team and the Green Education and Sustainable Development Units at Al-Qadisiyah University, in the presence of the member of the Parliamentary Health and Environment Committee, Representative Basem Al-Gharabi, and members of the Diwaniyah Governorate Council, Ms. Chairwoman of the Health and Environment Committee, Sundus Al-Moussawi, Mr. Ahmed Sakr Al-Bashat, Mr. Jaafar Sahib Al-Moussawi, and the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, and a group of deans of colleges, their professors and students, and officials of government institutions.
The workshop included a welcoming speech by the university president, a speech by the deputy, Basem Al-Gharabi, a speech by Ms. Sundus Al-Moussawi, and a speech by the first deputy, Mr. Ali Jabr Al-Fatlawi. The workshop also discussed the mechanism and plan of the policy by presenting the research axes of the ISO Energy team, focusing on the new policy that includes nine goals that the Diwaniyah Governorate seeks to achieve by 2030, under the supervision of the ISO Energy team, in addition to mentioning the procedures that include rationalizing energy consumption, sustainable afforestation campaigns, clean energy, and electricity meters. Then, the door was opened for dialogue and discussions. In conclusion, recommendations were made on the necessity of supporting government institutions and the participation of all individuals in achieving them.
