Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Kazem Jaber Al-Jubouri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Hayawi Yawh Atiah Al-Judhari, Dean of the College of Agriculture, the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Agriculture organized a scientific workshop titled “The Effects of Combating Low-Quality Digital Content on Freedom of Expression.” The workshop was presented by Assistant Lecturer Wafa Mohan Ajil and Assistant Lecturer Noor Hussein Aliwi.
The workshop aimed to raise awareness and enhance participants’ understanding of the phenomenon of low-quality digital content and its impact on societies, as well as to study the potential effects of combating low-quality digital content on freedom of expression, democratic principles, and the exchange of viewpoints. It also provided a platform for participants to share opinions and experiences on how to achieve a balance between combating harmful content and protecting freedom of expression.
