Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kazem Jaber Al-Jubouri, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, Professor Dr. Hussein Falah Ward, the Continuous Education Unit at the college, in collaboration with the Accounting Department, completed a training course titled (Preparing Final Accounts in State Departments). This training course targeted employees of the Integrity Commission and is part of the series of courses organized by the Continuous Education Unit to enhance cooperation between the college and various government institutions.
The course addressed final accounts as one of the important steps that no financial accountant can overlook, and it is the most crucial step to determine the status of any institution, understand the profits and losses at the end of the financial period, and know the operational system within the institution and its financial situation. Therefore, final accounts serve as the final result that the institution reaches at the end of the financial year.
The training course included key topics related to the concept of the unified accounting system, its types, and qualitative objectives, as well as the method of writing accounting entries according to the unified accounting system. Thus, the accounting system plays a fundamental role in managing companies and achieving specified objectives.
