Under the patronage and guidance of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Prof. Dr. Rahi Khalaf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, Al-Qadisiyah University participated in the Erasmus+ training workshop held at Al-Mustaqbal University. The event was organized through a joint collaboration between the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the European Union Delegation.
The three-day workshop addressed mechanisms for implementing International Credit Mobility (ICM), building university partnerships and agreements, selecting and preparing participants, and ensuring academic recognition of exchange outcomes, as well as project quality management and participant support.
The workshop also introduced Jean Monnet activities and the steps for preparing course module proposals. Additionally, it highlighted Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s scholarship opportunities available to Iraqis across various modern disciplines, along with the relevant application procedures.
The university’s participation aligns with its efforts to expand international partnerships and enhance opportunities for its students and faculty within Erasmus+ programs. Dr. Asmaa Abdul-Amir Abees, Director of the Scholarships and Cultural Relations Department, presented the European projects recently approved for the university, as well as future project proposals awaiting approval across various fields and disciplines.
