Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, and the supervision of his assistant for scientific affairs, Professor Dr. Star Abdul Hassan Al-Fatlawi, and the follow-up of the Director of the Continuing Education Center, Professor Dr. Mousa Khalaf Awad, the Continuing Education Center, in collaboration with the General Secretariat of the Central Library, held a training course titled:
(The Role of the Central Library in Developing Students’ Scientific and Educational Capabilities).
The course was presented by Mr. Aqeel Kazem Kataa, the Secretary-General of the Central Library, and Assistant Lecturer Hanan Jamal Ali, Head of the Development Division at the Continuing Education Center.
The course included a detailed explanation of how to use Arabic and foreign books and organize them according to the international classifications used in global universities, focusing on the importance of books and reading despite technological advancements and modern methods, as well as the use of social media. Nevertheless, books maintain their scientific status and great importance and play a crucial role in the culture of researchers.
